About Gwendolyn Martin

Gwen is an Accredited Organic Land Care Professional through the Connecticut chapter of the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA). She gained her first experience on a garden landscape crew in eastern Massachusetts. Subsequently she worked on the Bard College horticulture crew, and more recently on a farm crew in the Pioneer Valley. Gwen has completed coursework in the Landscape Design and Management program at Springfield Technical Community College. She commits to use sustainable land care best practices informed by the latest scientific research and proven historical practices, and takes local and regional workshops throughout the year to stay up to date.

In her free time Gwen tends to her own gardens, hikes with her dog, sews and knits, and spends time with family and friends feasting and playing.
